Safety assessment of more than 90 existing bridges maintained by Autostrade per l’Italia S.p.A.

Safety assessment of numerous bridges and various structural types of motorway viaducts, in application of the ‘Guidelines for risk classification and management, safety assessment and monitoring of existing bridges’, MIT-CSLLPP, 2020 as amended 2022. In detail, BRENG dealt with:

a) Preliminary safety assessment (Livello 3)
b) Construction safety checks;
c) Preliminary flaws influence assessment;
d) Assistance to the motorway operator;
e) Drafting the investigation plan and support to laboratory;
f) Detailed safety assessment (Livello 4);
g) Analysis of concentrated overweight loads.
