New Bridge over the Po River

Construction work on the new bridge over the Po River and access viaducts. The new bridge over the Po River, rebuilt in Piacenza with original architecture and structural typology, is one of the first major infrastructure in the world designed according to Life Cycle Assessment principles (LCA).
The bridge in the riverbed and floodplain section has a total length of 800 m, covered with a spatial lattice structure deck consisting of 11 spans of 75 m span.
