Construction of two launching wagons for the execution of continuous decks made of externally post-tensioned prefabricated segments using the span-by-span launching method. The activity involved the final and detailed design of all the elements of the wagon (winch trolley, hanger beam, truss beam, front leg), the analysis of the kinematics and the verification of the effects induced by the launching wagon on the viaduct structures. Assistance was provided to the metal carpentry workshop during the construction and testing phases.
