Hydraulic upgrading and replacement of the bridge over the Lamone River

The intervention stems from the need to hydraulically upgrade the bridge over the River Lamone in Boncellino at km 22+709 of the Castelbolognese – Ravenna railway line, in compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements. Following the hydraulic compatibility study, it was deemed necessary to raise both the structure and ancillary works required to modify the railway. The reconfiguration of the track’s planimetric and altimetric axis was carried out with reference to the RFI MoP—A, par. II.3, as the planned intervention can be classified as a restructuring of an existing track alignment. The work with the greatest impact is the 110-metre-long lattice girder bridge over the River Lamone.
