The healthcare facility (62 000 sqm) is built partially with pre-casted elements (vertical and horizontal supporting structures and final in-place casting) and seismic isolation by means of inverted pendulum dampers at foundation level.
The design developed within a BIM environment which allowed different expertises, such as structural engineering, architecture and system engineering, to continuously interact through 3D models and data visualization acc. to UNI 11337.
