New Bridge over the River Po

Construction work on the new bridge over the Po River and the Lodi and Piacenza side adduction viaducts. The new bridge over the Po River, rebuilt in Piacenza with original architecture and structural typology, is the first major infrastructure in the world designed with environmental sustainability principles (LCA).
The bridge in the section in the riverbed and floodplain has a total length of 800 m, covered with a spatial reticulated deck structure consisting of 11 spans of 75 m.
