Macrolotto 3.2 of the Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway

Macrolotto 3.2 dal km 153+400 al km 173+900 dell’Autostrada Salerno-Reggio Calabria. This is an upgrade and modernisation of the existing motorway, which is carried out partly on site, partly as a variant. The design of the new axis is made particularly complex by the morphological and geomorphological situation of the areas crossed. The intervention affects several major works of art of considerable structural importance, including the Italia viaduct, shown in the photo.
