Flaiano Bridge in Pescara

The Flaiano bridge meets the need for a new river crossing in the city of Pescara and a strategic asset for the modernization and development of the city and its viability.
The bridge is a single pier cable-stayed type, consisting of a steel-concrete deck with 2 spans of 86 m and m, with a total length of 95 m. The width of the deck is 28 m. The bipartite pier is approximately 50 m high, 10 stay cables are connected to support the deck. Within the recess of its fork take place a grid of photovoltaic panels.
